Overview

This hotel may share the same name as J.R.Tolkien's little literary creation, and it may be set in a small market town riverside setting (resembling 'The Shire'), but there's nothing small about the smiles which fill The Hobbit hotel and surrounding area. Set in West Yorkshire, this traditional yet refurbished hotel oozes class and happiness, to provide you with a breathtaking weekend getaway.

Eat like royalty with full English breakfasts that are served in a 40-seat restaurant, which features exposed stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings. Menus are changed seasonally and locally sourced. Dishes are freshly-made and the dinner menu includes such as Tempura Brie Wedge, sweet peppers & thyme chutney, petit salad and Beer-Battered Fresh Cod from Eyemouth, with chips, peas and homemade tartare sauce. While The Hobbit Carvery is served all day. Packed lunches are available on request.
